Our module production starts with careful selection of its base materials. Because cost of solar cells is 80% of total material cost of every solar module, manufacturers often resort to cheaper wafers and solar cells to compete in the market. However unlike others, Onyx uses only the best wafers and its resulting premium solar cells to compete with quality instead.

Such careful selection of wafers and cells enables Onyx to perform like no other even under clouded weather. Solar panels commonly have maximum power rating but the maximum power (Pmax) can only be obtained when there is absolute zero disruption of direct insolation. Unfortunately such weather conditions are not ideal in reality. This is where exclusive usage of high quality wafers and cells allow Onyx to excel past its competitors; being built entirely of grade ‘A’ cells allows Onyx to perform its maximum potential. Onyx is, therefore, capable of generating more electricity under less insolation.
